In the video, the woman described the chronology of the price manipulation.
She admitted on Friday that she took her boyfriend to Friday prayers by car at the Bandung City Mosque.
Then he intended to park his car in the basement area of the Mosque, but it was full.
"We couldn't get a parking spot in the basement because it's already full, right," said the woman, quoted from Dedi Mulyadi's TikTok post on Friday (7/4/2025).
Then, the woman said because she didn't get a parking lot near the mosque, she drove around looking for another parking place.
Then he found that there were cars parked in an area on the roadside, and there was still empty space.
This woman also admitted to choosing to park her car at that location.
"Then we kept looking around, finally we found the parking here, because people park here," he said.
"Probably they have no choice because they are late, it's already 12:00, afraid that the Friday (prayer) will end," he continued.
After parking at the location, suddenly a man with a plain face came forward, holding a parking ticket.
This woman was surprised by the amount on the ticket.
"We parked, and suddenly the parking attendant came, honestly saying, 'This is Neng, pay directly Rp 20,000 first,' he said," the woman said.
"Is the Rp 20,000 fee correct? Isn't that wrong? We are here to worship, why are you making it difficult, taking advantage, do you know," he complained angrily.
Regarding the complaint of the woman from Bandung, West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi immediately responded.
The Governor of West Java admitted that he directly reported the matter to the Regency Police Chief.
"Send me a message to the Chief of Police of Bandung City at 02.00 in the morning, for the mother who complained about illegal parking in Bandung last night, I paid Rp 20,000," said Dedi Mulyadi.
Dedi Mulyadi also stated that the suspected illegal parking perpetrator has been detained by the police.
In her TikTok post, Dedi also posted a photo of the suspect being questioned by the police.
Today, the perpetrator is being detained and examined at Polrestabes Bandung City Police.
"Your mother's complaint has been followed up, we hope that Bandung will become better, more free from illegal toll activities, more orderly and less congested," said Dedi Mulyadi.
